Crossing the World!
Watch out wherever you are in the world, as we’ve decided to join the Book Crossing scheme and will be dispatching copies of The Befana Drama and The Befana Drama 2: Capriccia’s Conundrum, in the special Book Crossing bags that allow people to send their books on a unique worldwide journey.
It will be exciting to see where the books land, if the ‘finders’ play their part in the process and let us know where the books have touched down. We’d love to get pictures to accompany the journey, so we can post them on social media, so we’ll have prizes for those too.
We’d like to get the books off to a flying start with this initiative, so if you live in a far-flung place and would like to put yourself forward to be a first recipient of one of our books in the Book Crossing bag, please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
Other news is that we will be taking our ‘Christmas-themed’ Befana Drama 1 book, and its non-Christmassy thriller-type sequel, to the Ribby Hall Christmas Fair on November 30, signing books and doing our usual exciting things with giveaways and competitions. We may be able to get a few more such events into the diary, even though our focus is very much international right now and an awful lot of writing is needed, for that very purpose!
We should have a promotion going live in Canada very soon too, so watch out for that!
But for now, we are concentrating our English efforts on our very English book and will be trying to complete the half-finished YA Gothic/supernatural novel, which also has its roots in England. So many ideas, so little time! Never mind, life’s brilliant fun, as a result and gradually people are getting the bigger picture and seeing how huge its dimensions can be. On that note, I may start thinking about the board game tonight!
